As edições do World Press Photo contam sempre com fotografias de excelente qualidade, mas gostei especialmente das fotografias premiadas este ano.

Dailysnap

Um dos fotoblogues que mais admiro é o Dailysnap, de Jessyel Gonzales. Numa entrevista recente que deu, disse que fazer o blogue foi o factor que mais desenvolveu a sua fotografia. Gosto especialmente desta concepção. Esse exercício, que tem mais a ver com quantidade do que qualidade, é fundamental para o aperfeiçoamento da técnica. Sem o feedback, os comentários e a responsabilidade que um blogue implica, certamente não fotografaria como o faço.

Vale mesmo a pena visitar o Dailysnap.


One of the my favourite photoblogs is the Dailysnap, by Jessyel Gonzales. In a recent interview, he said that running his blog was the thing that caused the biggest improvement in his photography. This idea pleases me very much. That exercise, which is more about quantity than quality, is essential for the development of the technique. Without the feedback, comments and the responsability a blog implies, certaintly I would not photograph as I do.

Nos últimos dias, tenho pensado que seria interessante criar um espaço, agregado ao Teoria das Cores, que me permitisse falar de fotografia, fazer sugestões, ou discutir algumas dificuldades técnicas. Por isso criei este blog (alojado no Blogger, que tem uma nova e útil ferramenta de FTP e domínios personalizados). Espero que gostem!

In the last few days, I have been thinking that it would be interesting to create a new space, in paralell with Teoria das Cores, that allowed me to talk about photography, make suggestions , or discuss some difficulties. Therefore I created this blog (hosted on Blogger, that has a new and useful FTP tool and custom domains). I hope you'll enjoy it!
